Interesting not from Chryselle’s Down the Aisle web series is that most guests will be seeing the back of the dress for most of the day. May be worthwhile to give the back just as much love as the front.

Crown Braid Chignon Tutorial
(via OnceWed)
1. French braid front section of hair from one ear to the other. Leave end of braid out until Step 7.
2. Take the top section of hair, tease it and pin securely with bobby pins creating a half up – half down look.
3. Then starting on one side of the hair take a section of hair, twist it and bring it the opposite side and pin it with bobby pins. Make sure to cover the previously secured bobby pins from Step 1.
4. + 5. Then take the remaining “tail” from the section of hair just pinned with an additional section of hair, creating one section of hair, twist and bring it the opposite side and pin securely with bobby pins directly under the previous twist.
6. Repeat the process until there is no longer any more sections on either side and you are left with just the “tails”.
7. + 8. Pin the remaining “tails” by twisting and overlapping, mimicking the overlap twist look.
9. + 10. After all hair is twisted and pinned, bring the braid into the back and secure with bobby pins. Making the “tail” of the braid mimic the already pinned twists.
11. After all is hair and braid is pinned securely, gently tug at hair creating a looser more full look.
I once thought that my dreams and hopes with you were grounded in a foundation of mutual benefit. That you may one day become the doctor I wished to marry and live happily ever after with. The guy I can bring out to my friends and they will admire our power coupledom and tell me what a great life I will have if I stayed with you.
I used to envy others whose significant other was a bus ride away - or even next door. Those couples at school who take all their classes together - inseparable for even a second. We shared a brief 6 months in the same city and they were the happiest times of my life.
Now, especially since you haven’t matched into a residency program, you continue to amaze me what YOU are capable of. You fought for me when I let you down, you always try to put the best food forward, and you never compromise your integrity for self-interest.
I must admit that when I first found out you went unmatched I questioned whether there was anything left in you for me to stay for, to fight for. And now I know more than ever - there is.
I know you can do whatever you set your heart to and I am excited to see a better more passionate doctor next year.
I love you.
Thank you.
It’s just that much more awesome when I know you’re doing it despite you’re own setbacks and sadness. Thank you for putting me first.

Some of you may know about my pleasant experiences with Uber and here’s a chance for you to get a free ride upon registration and a shameless plug for the company. Some highlights:Sign up here: Uber.com/go/TDR058402
- Especially for the up-towners, this can help a great deal on a late Friday night/Saturday morning. (Remember, don’t drink and drive!)
- It’s also extremely handy post-concert/sports game or in the middle of a hail storm where finding a cab is not the easiest thing to do. You place a request for a cab on your phone, and you’ll get a notification upon its arrival. Really handy - especially in the winter time.
- Note: they do require a credit card upon check up, and they automatically deduct the cost of each ride so that you do not have to worry about finding the cash when you get off. Really hassle free. A price estimate is provided before you request your car so you’ll know what to expect. You can also edit the default tip amount (yes, you can pick 0%) for each ride. From personal experience, the regular taxi cabs cost the same and the black cars charge a slight premium. It is a flat rate (depending on zone) to both Toronto airports.

Riding in a black car totally makes me feel like I’m in Gossip Girl.
